To commemorate the International Women’s Day Soma is delighted to invite you to engage with a panel of three women fiction authors (and creative communicators using diverse genre and media)—Elieshi Lema, Beatrix Mugishagwa and Irene Sanga on
Friday, 5th March, 2010 at the Café from 6.00 to 8.00 PM
Who will share their writing experiences, recurring themes in their works, where they draw their inspiration from, challenges they have faced over time and what prospects they see for women and women authors as we close the first decade of a new millennium compared to their own times.
Issues raised by the panelists will be further discussed in an open forum punctuated by readings of texts from some women writers, poetry recitation by Langa Sarakikya and spontaneous show of talents from the audience.
